In 1989, we were born to shape innovation by creating quality products. However, we were also born to shape sustainability. And this result can be seen in all the products of Poleva’s sustainable line.
Sustainability from the raw material to the final product
Sustainability starts with choosing the right materials. And, at Poleva, we bet on different materials to shape our line of sustainable products:
• we use cork, sugar cane and wood fibres as a natural raw material;;
• we reuse recycled materials as raw material;
• we reuse waste to reduce the use of synthetic materials.
These products are identified with a green symbol, and it shows the commitment that Poleva has to increasingly integrate recycled materials to reduce the dependency of unsustainable synthetic materials in production lines.
Sustainability outside and inside Poleva
Our dedication to sustainability goes beyond the products we create, and it is already happening indoors. We have installed solar panels on our facilities, which means that about 30% of Poleva’s daily production is already powered by renewable energy.
In addition, in 2021, we obtained the ISO 14001:2015 certification, that recognises the commitment of companies to have an effective environmental management of their operations.
Sustainability in continuous motion
The line of sustainable products, the ISO 14001:2015 certification and the search for alternative markets with innovative and environmentally friendly raw materials are some of Poleva’s bets to promote global sustainability.
But our commitment with the planet does not end here. We not only want to create customised products, but solutions that meet the needs of each of our partners and contribute to a better and more sustainable future.
